PRESIDENT'S ORDER 20 OF 1971

DELEGATION OF POWERS (REVOCATION) ORDER, 1971

No. F. 24 (1)/71‑Pub.‑The following Order made by the President on the 30th December 1971, is hereby published for general information :‑

In pursuance of the Proclamation of the 25th day of March 1969, read with the Proclamation of the 20th day of December 1971, and in exercise of all powers enabling him in that behalf, the President is pleased to make the following Order;

1. Short title and commencement.‑(1) This Order may be called the Delegation of Powers (Revocation) Order, 1971.

(2) It shall come into force at once and shall be deemed to have taken effect on the sixteenth day of December 1971.

  1. Order to override otherLaws.‑This Order shall have effect not withstanding anything contained in the Provisional Constitution Order or any other law for the time being in force.

  2. Revocation of delegated powers.‑Allrules, orders, notifications or other instruments by or under which any officer or authority in any part of Pakistan in the occupation of the enemy has been authorised to exercise or perform any powers or functions of the Central Government shall cease to have effect.
