NORTH-WEST FRONTIER PROVINCE HISTORICAL MOSQUES AND SHRINES FUND CESS (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1991

An Act further to amend the West Pakistan Historical Mosques and Shrines Fund Cess Ordinance, 1960

No. PA/NWFP/Legis/91/5157, dated 27-3-1991.---The North-West Frontier Province Historical Mosques and Shrines Fund Cess (Amendment) Bill, 1991, having been passed by the Provincial Assembly of the North-West Frontier Province on the 17th March, 1991 and assented to by the Governor of the North-West Frontier Province on 25th March, 1991, is hereby published as an Act of the Provincial Legislature of North-West Frontier Province.

**Preamble.--**Whereas it is expedient further to amend the West Pakistan Historical Mosques and Shrines Fund Cess Ordinance, 1960 (W.P. Ordinance V of 1960), for the purpose herinafter appearing;

It is hereby enacted as follows.

1. Short title and commencement.--(1) This Act may be called. the North-West Frontier Province Historical Mosques and Shrines Fund Cess (Amendment) Act, 1991.

(2) It shall come into force at once and shall be deemed to have taken effect on the 1st October, 1989.

**2. Amendment of section 3 of W.P. Ord. V of 1960.--**In the West Pakistan Historical Mosques and Shrines Fund Cess Ordinance, 1960 (W.P. Ordinance V of 1960), in section 3,--

(a) in subsection (3), for the words "five paisa" the words "eight paisa" shall be substituted, and

(b) subsection (4) shall be deleted.
