COMMISSION (AMENDMENT) ORDINANCE, 2003

An Ordinance further to amend the North-West Frontier Province

Public Service Commission Ordinance, 1978

Whereas it is expedient further to amend the North-West Frontier Province Public Service Commission Ordinance, 1978 (N.-W.F.P. Ord. No.XI of 1978) for the purposes hereinafter appearing;

And whereas the Provincial Assembly is not in session and the Governor of the North-West Frontier Province is satisfied that circumstances exist which render it necessary to take immediate action;

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by Article 128 of the Constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Governor of the North-West Frontier Province is pleased to make and promulgate the following Ordinance:

1. Short title and commencement.------(1) This Ordinance may be called the North-West Frontier Province Public Service Commission (Amendment) Ordinance, 2003.

(2) It shall come into force at once.

**2. Amendment of section 7 of N.-W.F.P. Ord. No.XI of 1978.-----**In the North-West Frontier Province Public Service Commission Ordinance, 1978 (N.-W.F.P. Ord. No.XI of 1978), in section 7, in subsection (2), for clause (i), the following shall be substituted, namely:

"(i) posts pertaining to household staff in the Governor House and the Chief Minister House;".
