NORTH-WEST FRONTIER PROVINCE REVISION OF RECORD-OF-RIGHTS (VALIDATION) ACT, 1991

An Act to validate the Revision of Record-of-Rights in the District of Bannu, Mardan and Swabi

No. PA/NWFP/Legis/91/5131, dated 26-3-1991.--The North-West Frontier Province Revision of Record-of-Rights (Validation) Bill,1991 having been passed by the Provincial Assembly of the North-West Frontier Province on the 12th March, 1991 and assented to by the Governor of the North-West Frontier Province on 21st March, 1991, is hereby published as an Act of the Provincial Legislature of North-West Frontier Province.

**Preamble.--**Whereas it is expedient to validate the revision of record-of rights in the Districts of Bannu, Mardan and Swabi.

It is hereby enacted as follows:

1. Short title, extent and commencement.--(l) This Act may be called the North-West Frontier Province Revision of Record-of-Rights (Validation) Act, 1991.

(2) It shall extend to the District of Bannu, Mardan and Swabi.

(3) It shall come into force at once.

2. Validation of certain action.-- Notwithstanding the non-publication of the Revenue Department's Notification No. 19738/S&CH/55. Sett., dated the 8^th^ September,1982, as required by section 2r (41) of the West Pakistan General Clauses Act, 1956 (W.P. Act VI of 1956), or any other law for the time being in force, or any judgment, decree or order of any Court or other authority, the special revision of right-of-records done in the Districts of Bannu, Mardan and Swabi in pursuance of the Notification referred to above shall be valid and shall always be deemed valid for all intents and purposes of the West Pakistan Land Revenue Act, 1967 (W.P. Act XVII of 1907).
