Nadra**(Application To The Federally Administered Tribal Areas) Regulation 2005**

**S.R.O. 754(I)/2005, dated 28-6-2005.---**A Regulation to apply the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) Ordinance, 2000 (VIII of 2000) to the Federally Administered Tribal Areas.

Whereas it is expedient to apply the NADRA Ordinance, 2000 (VIII of 2000) to the Federally Administered Tribal Areas;

Now, therefore, in exercise of power conferred by clauses (3) and (5) of Article 247 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, 1973, the President is pleased to make the following Regulation.

1. Short title, extent and commencement.--- (1) This Regulation may be called the NADRA (Application to the Federally Administered Tribal Areas) Regulation, 2005.

(i) It extends to the whole of the FATA.

(ii) It shall come into force at once.

2. Application of the NADRA Ordinance, 2000 (VIII of 2000) to the FATA.-- -The NADRA Ordinance, 2000 (VIII of 2000), as in force in Pakistan immediately before the commencement of this Regulation and, so far as may be, all rules, regulations, notifications, orders and instructions which may have been, or may be made or issued thereunder, shall apply to the FATA.
